Supporting Local Charities
Throughout December, North Notts College is collecting donations in support of Hope Community Services, Thornberry Animal Sanctuary, and Bassetlaw Food Bank. As winter begins, these charities are especially seeking support to aid those in need during the cold months ahead.
Three large boxes will be located at the main reception, where staff, students, and members of the public can drop off their unwanted items. Each box will be labelled with the charity’s name and a list detailing the items accepted.
Leading the campaign is Student Support, a team at North Notts College that helps improve student learning experiences through extracurricular activities, voluntary work, and social action campaigns like this one. They also arrange guest speakers and workshops supporting personal development, continuously looking for new ways to improve their learning journey.
