Worksop’s Got Talent 2024
Worksop’s Got Talent (WGT) is back again for the eighth time running, proudly sponsored by North Notts College. This year’s event promises to exceed expectations, with the goal of raising even more money and awareness for Retina UK.
Event Details
Mark your calendars for Friday, 8 November 2024, at North Notts Arena. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the show starting at 7:00 PM and running until 10:30 PM. Prepare for an evening packed with performances that will captivate and entertain. Expect a vibrant mix of music, dance, comedy, and much more!
Making a Difference
Since 2016, WGT has raised over £145,000 for Retina UK, a non-profit organisation that works tirelessly to support those dealing with inherited progressive blindness.
With 700 guests attending the venue each year, WGT has not only sold out seven times but also secured nine prestigious awards along its journey. Organiser James Clarke won BBC Fundraiser of the Year in 2023 and has also been nominated for a Pride of Britain Award this year.
Celebrity Judges
Four well known celebrities will join the panel, including:
- Award-winning ‘Coronation Street’ actor, Jude Riordan.
- Chart-topping singer and West End star, Suzanne Shaw.
- ‘Love Island’ 2024 hunk, Blade Siddiqi

Student Involvement
Students from the RNN Group will play a crucial role in Worksop’s Got Talent. They will contribute to various aspects of the event, including:
- FLEX: Assisting with guest services, ticketing, and raffle management
- Hair and Beauty: Preparing performers for the spotlight
- Performing Arts and Music: Opening the show and showcasing their talents
- Media and Photography: Documenting the event and creating promotional materials
