North Notts College Proudly Sponsors Worksop’s Got Talent
North Notts College is sponsoring the prestigious local show Worksop’s Got Talent. The buzzing event, on Friday 1st November from 7pm – 10.15pm at North Notts Arena, celebrates local talent whilst raising money for charitable causes.
Over the past three years, Worksop’s Got Talent has raised over £22,000 for eye charity Retina UK, won two awards and sold out three times.
This year’s celebrity hosts will be actress and model Kym Marsh and Ex On The Beach star Sam Reece. The two revealed celebrity judges so far for this year’s exciting event are Love Island star Chris Taylor and Grammy award-winning songwriter and producer Eliot Kennedy.
In a career spanning three decades, Eliot has worked with huge names in the music industry including Take That, The Spice Girls, Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, Mary J Blige, Donny Osmond, Bryan Adams, Boyzone and S Club 7 culminating in total record sales of over 80 million worldwide.
Eliot said: “I’m always excited about new talent and even more so from where I live. I can’t wait to see the artists!”
Since starring on Love Island, Chris Taylor has racked up nearly one million Instagram followers.
Chris said: “I’m really excited to be one of the judges for this year’s Worksop’s Got Talent. It’s an honour to be involved with a talent show that raises so much money for such an important cause and I can’t wait to see all the acts perform. Bring on the variety!”
North Notts College Assistant Principal Angela Bates helped organise the College’s sponsorship of the event.
Angela said; “We are delighted to sponsor Worksop’s Got Talent again. Like the exciting event, we enjoy recognising and celebrating local aspiration.
“We look forward to supporting this event’s efforts for charitable fundraising and to see all the acts and performances on the night.”
