North Notts College Celebrates World Mental Health Day 2024

10 October 2024

Today, North Notts College proudly participated in the Wear Yellow initiative, organised by Young Minds, to raise awareness for mental health among young people. This annual event encourages schools, communities, and organisations to come together, highlighting the importance of mental health support and understanding.

Wearing yellow, students and staff gathered in reception at 2 pm for a group photo, showcasing our collective commitment to standing with young people who may be struggling. The turnout was fantastic, with many participants demonstrating their solidarity and dedication to fostering a supportive environment.

World Mental Health Day serves as a vital reminder that young people do not have to face their challenges alone. At North Notts College, we believe in the importance of open conversations about mental health and the power of community support. Together, we sent a strong message: things can get better, and help is always within reach.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making World Mental Health Day a success. Your participation helps create a more compassionate and understanding atmosphere for all.
