So far 16 students and 10 staff have completed Snowdon (the highest in Wales) in his memory.
The next walk is Scafell Pike (the highest in England) on Saturday 21st May or the 28th May, setting off from college at 5.30am and returning around 11.30pm Details of all the mountain challenges are on the NNC outdoor activities Facebook page.
If any student or staff are interested in taking part in this year’s challenge and you would like to climb Ben Nevis (the highest mountain in Britain) over the weekend of 24th-26th June please book yourself into SYHA Crianlarich Youth Hostel for Saturday 25th June. Please get back to aviggers@nnc.ac.uk if you have any difficulties.
We have a moto for our challenges and those who have taken part in the past will know it well; ‘Why do we do it, because we can’,  but the main reason is to raise money for charity. Many charities over the years have benefitted from all the hard work and effort that each member of staff and student has put into these challenges, so don’t forget to get support from your family, friends and work colleagues by getting them to sponsor you.
Look out for the briefing sessions to keep you updated on these challenges.
