Goodwill Galore as North Notts College Students and Staff Help Charitable Causes
The festive spirit is well and truly alive at North Notts College as students and staff have gone above and beyond this festive season helping a number of charitable causes, both locally and in surrounding areas.
Business students raising money for The Salvation Army, started off the season of giving at the College and were quickly joined by a collection initiative from the Construction, Engineering and Motor Vehicle departments before Sport students and staff raised money and toys for charity.
Charlie Madden, Progress Tutor at North Notts College initiated a ‘Christmas Shoebox Collection’, where both students and staff collected over 230 items for Hope Services, a Worksop-based homelessness charity. The brilliant initiative saw food, clothing, toiletries and winter essentials, such as sleeping bags and scarves be donated to the cause.
These fantastic festive donations were echoed by North Notts College Year One and Two Sport students and staff. Helping out children in need at the Clifton Learning Partnership, they raised over £135 and, with the help of the local Worksop community, donated toys, games, toiletries, books and festive treats.
Everyone at North Notts College would like to send a special thank you to the students and staff involved in these wonderful initiatives, WELL DONE!
