Continued support for learners
Whilst all RNN Group college sites will be closed for the foreseeable future – including the Easter holiday period (with the exception of the Bright Skies Nursery at Rotherham College‘s Dinnington Campus which is open for the children of key workers), we will continue to support all learners remotely.
We need to prioritise those classed as ‘vulnerable learners’: supported by social care; with safeguarding and welfare needs including child in need plans (CIN); child protection plans (CP); ‘looked after’ children (LAC); young carers; High Needs (HN); Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and those with Special Educational Needs and Difficulties (SEND).
Assistant Principal (Student Support and Safeguarding) Angela Bates is the designated lead for the Group. Her teams are liaising with social workers, parents and learners.
If you are in one of the above groups and require support including safeguarding, counselling, health, wellbeing, welfare or financial can you please contact Angela at angela.bates@rnngroup.ac.uk and she and her team will be able to advise and assist you.
For course related queries can all other learners please continue to contact their tutor via the usual channels – email, Google Classroom – and if you have any difficulties contact our Enquiries team at:
