The T Level Foundation Year is a 16-18 study programme specifically designed to develop the skills, experience, knowledge and behaviours to support progression onto a T Level.
It is a one-year programme aimed at young people who are not quite ready to start a T Level but have the potential to progress onto one.
There are 5 elements to the T Level foundation programme:
On this course, you will:
- Learn from industry-experienced and well-qualified tutors who have spent many years in the health and social Industry, and have specialist qualifications and knowledge to bring to their teaching.
- Access the state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
- Take part in cross-campus events and charity fundraisers.
- Hear from a range of guest speakers from the health and social care industry
- Acquire new skills and enrichment specific to health and social care such as first aid at work, manual handling and health and safety at work.
