This qualification is for candidates wishing to gain futher understanding and practical experience in the Bricklaying Trade.

The course is designed to be two evening classes per week of up to 3 hours each

Learners interested will study theoretical aspects of the subject and apply them to practical tasks.

Compulsory topics include:

  • The principles of construction

  • Building cavity walls

  • Constructing basic arches

  • Setting out buildings

    • Excellent facilities with industry-experienced, qualified tutors who have spent many years in construction and have specialist qualifications and knowledge to bring to their teaching

    Understanding of the bricklaying trade with a Level 1 or equivalent skills and understanding of the bricklaying trade
