Health Clinical Suite

Our new Health Clinical Suite at North Notts College provides the perfect place for you to put your future career under the microscope.

Replicating real hospital conditions, our two mock wards are fully equipped with the latest medical equipment.

Throughout the 2 years, students will carry out clinical observations on staff within the health screening project in the specialist health screening room, gaining valuable experience in a simulated clinical environment with actual individuals.

They will experience simulated cardiac arrest, seizures, diabetic conditions and many other acute and chronic medical conditions and situations. Students will undertake moving and handling training and will learn how to deliver person centred care.

Health and safety

The Health and Social Care Clinical Suite is a safe and clean environment, where every student and member of staff is expected to wear a lab coat and relevant protective equipment such as glasses and surgical gloves when needed.
